Atalie brown, bs

Qualifications

Atalie Brown is a Rangeland Ecologist with Rangeland Conservation Science, where she works to promote sustainable grazing practices, habitat restoration, and ecosystem resilience across California’s rangelands.  She has worked with government agencies, environmental consulting firms, and non-profit organizations. Atalie brings extensive experience in rangeland monitoring, integrated weed management, and wildlife-compatible grazing programs. She holds a B.S. in Conservation and Resource Studies with a minor in Forestry and Natural Resources from UC Berkeley and is a Certified Rangeland Manager. Her work focuses on connecting science-based land management with practical conservation solutions. 

Technical Specialties

  • California rangeland vegetation and wildlife monitoring
  • Conservation planning, including grazing management plans
  • Livestock infrastructure surveys
  • Mapping/Spatial Analysis (RDM, Vegetation, Infrastructure, etc.)
